Judgment (ROC Issues)
On 30th October 2025, the Competition Appeal Tribunal issued its judgment in relation to certain preliminary issues (the “ROC Issues”).
In response to the judgment, class representative Clare Spottiswoode said:
“Although I am disappointed by the Tribunal’s decision, this preliminary issue judgment relates only to a part of these collective proceedings. I remain fully confident in the importance and strength of this claim. I now look forward to advancing to the full trial.
I believe this action is vital in holding to account cartelists whose illegal conduct has already been proven by the European Commission and to achieving compensation for electricity customers in Great Britain.”
